Three YouTube personalities were arrested in the Turkish province of Antalya on 12.12.21 after interviewing
passers-by in the street and asking them for their opinions on the economic crisis in connection with the drop in
the value of the Turkish lira. Their homes were raided and mobile phones and computers seized.

The arrested
individuals are accused of "vilifying the state and the government".

According to reports in the media, the
YouTubers have since been released, but placed under house arrest.
