Hi,
I like how you tackled the subject.

i would like to add that Honesty is not part of the game at this point...A true love for Haiti is. The reason why I say honesty is not part of the game is because it's hard to find a Haitian nowadays that is not somewhat corrupted and it's directly related to the situation of the country in the past 2 decades.

But, with a president that truly loves his country and has shown it, a president that understands the complexity of the social classes in Haiti, a president that is willing to work hard and get help by experts, Haiti will have a chance.

You're supporting Wyclef, and I support Micky.

I stopped supporting Wyclef when I realized that he might be more corrupted than all the other candidates.

With this whole investigation going on yele, with his tax problems with the U.S., to his house in foreclosure, to the mistress he was paying with yele money, to the advertising costs paid by yele to Telemax, a station he owes....

There way too much going on with him at the moment, and he doesn't have 5 years "officially" in the country if we count when Preval made him ambassador in 2007. So even his candidacy is questionable.

I don't doubt that he loves Haiti, I don't doubt that he loves the Haitian people...In fact, that is the most important..And same with Micky, no one can doubt his love for Haiti and the people of Haiti...He wrote plenty of songs on the subject..

The choice is hard to make between those 2, but I believe that Michel Martelly can represent Haiti better in front of the world right now. We can give Wyclef the time to correct his mistakes, show his good faith and maybe even start a political career with a lesser job as "mayor" of croix des Bouquets, or senator...

the time will come tough when he will be ready to tackle this position...As far as right now, I don't see myself supporting a candidate that can't even respect the laws of the constitution by posing his candidacy without respecting the rules.

We do need someone that is truly committed and with deep love and attachment to the land and I believe that Micky fits that description.
