The 1987 Constitution of Haiti says that someone has to reside for 5 years CONTINUOUSLY before running for President.
I'm not saying Sweet Mickey should be President.
I'm saying, Wyclef should not. His charity is under investigation, so I don't know whether I would call that doing good work on the ground.
He owes back taxes, which isn't a good sign for a political candidate.
Also, if Pras is not Haitian, then neither is Wyclef (who hardly speaks Kreyòl, let alone French), and again, he shouldn't be running for President.
Come on, people.
Use your brains.
No more cult of personality.
Let's have some quality leadership, not a nice sound-byte and feel-good moment for Haiti.
