in Caribbean countries, the death penalty exists at least de jure, except in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, which abolished it in 1969 and 1987, respectively.

Grenada is abolitionist in practice; its last execution was in 1978.

Nota bene: Jovenel Moise, Presidentin charge of Haiti attacked by hired Colombian rebels sponsored by the United States administration and various Haitian local politician groups, and Dominican Republic(Latino groups.

Village Justice is practiced and corrupt judicial decision are pervasive against Haitian immigrants practiced by Arab immigrants with Spanish or Italian heritage in the DSominican Republic.
