Jamaica was once the world's leading exporter of bauxite, which is the ore from which aluminum is made, but decades of mining have taken a toll on the land and the people.

With reserves depleted, the government is now pushing to move mining operations into the most ecologically sensitive part of the island known as Cockpit Country.

The people of Cockpit Country fought off the British in the 1700s and now they're conjuring the warrior spirit of their ancestors to take that fight to the mining companies.

After the defeat of Jamaica for the FIFA 2022 World Cup Qualifying, many Pakistanis, Bengalies, Dominicans, Koreans refused to help their environments by taking jobs that pay less, because they are egostistic
