Manganello, Lena, 81, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of died on August 17, 2001 at West Boca Medical Center.

She was born February 26, 1920 in the daughter of the late Filomena and Joseph DeMaso.

She married the late Augustine (Gus) Manganello on July 20, 1941 in Mt. Carmel Church in Mt. Vernon, NY. Mr. Manganello died January 6, 1992. Lena was the loving mother of Joseph Manganello, Madison, CT, Donna Manganello of New York City, James Manganello, White Plains, NY and Carol Pirone of Thornwood, NY. She was also the loving grandmother of Joseph Pirone, Jennifer Rulison, Julie, Jamie, Tori and Brian Manganello.

Mrs. Manganello is also survived by three sisters and four brothers: Mary Feraulo, Mt. Vernon, NY, Rose Sclafani, Jacksonville, FL, Anna Marzella, Scarsdale, NY, Fred DeMaso, Bronxville, NY, Nicholas Cerbone, Yonkers, NY, Anthony Cerbone, Mt. Vernon, NY, Sal Cerbone, Peoria, AZ and the late Joseph Cerbone.

She was a member of many organizations in New York as well as the Elks Club in Boca Raton.

She was a retired antiques dealer.

Mrs. Manganello will be remembered for the many kind, caring and unselfish concern for others.

She truly enjoyed interacting with people and maintaining an "open door" to her home and her heart.

She will be missed by all. Services were held in New York and her child.
