A News Reporter Stephen Andrew And Videographer Brendan Strain Are On Special Assignment Travelling With The Langford Team The Community Leaders From Langford Are Feeling The Weight And Pressure Of The Ambitious Project They Began A Little More Than A Few Weeks Ago. In Addition To Personal Clothing, Their Bags Are Packed With Humanitarian Aid Medicine, Bandages, And Toys For The Children Of An Orphanage Destroyed By The January Earthquake. An Orphanage The Team Plans To Rebuild In A Matter Of Months. Langford Fire Chief, Bob Beckett Has Experience With Overseas Humanitarian Missions. Six Years Ago He And Other Members Of His Department Helped Train Firefighters In Afghanistan, But He Says Each Project Is Fraught With Uncertainty. Security Is A Concern, So Much So That Beckett Added Police Officer Brian Kerr To The Team Just A Few Days Ago. Though The Group Will Meet Up With RCMP Officers In Port-au-Prince, Kerr Maintains A Constant Vigil Over The Safety Of The Team. He Says There Is No Doubt The Project Will Be A Success. It's A Thought Shared By All Members Of The Team Including One Of Langfords Emergency Social Service Coordinators.
